The brain trust at the Mac division of Microsoft decided to abandon in Word 2008 the programming model that has been supported in Word since 1995, upon which our product and all of the similar products in the market is based.
Microsoft recently (May 2008) capitulated to the demands of us and thousands of other software developers, and agreed to restore at least most of the technology required to the VBA programming and Word object model, but not until the Word 2010 release in early 2010.
If that happens, we'll release a free update of StyleEase for APA Style for Mac OS. And we'll announce this on our web site, and in our newsletter.
You can sign up for the quarterly (no-spam!) newsletter by going to
http://www.styleease.com/Newsletter.html.
In the meantime, it IS possible to run our PC version using Word 2007 or Word 2003 for Windows in combination with Parallels or VMWare (or similar PC-emulation software) for Mac OS.
