Starting a New StyleEase Document |
You can create an unlimited number of documents with StyleEase. From freshman book reports to doctoral dissertations, use StyleEase throughout your academic career.
Start new documents directly from the Windows Start menu: click the Windows start button, then All Programs, then StyleEase, then select the type of paper you are writing.
In Word 2011 on MacOS, click New from Template in the File menu, then select StyleEaseAPA or StyleEaseMLA from the My Templates folder.
Select options for your document in the StyleEase Document Setup screen shown below. |
Customizing Your Document's Page Layout |
The StyleEase Document Setup screen allows you to quickly pick the appropriate paper style and all necessary sections.

Typing and Formatting Text |
Type your paper and automatically format the text as you go. Need to change a section or heading format later? Simply click in that section, and choose the style you want to apply; it's that easy!

Citing Previously Cited Sources

You can quickly insert an in-text citation to an existing reference, for example (Hillerson, 2002), without having to enter any data. The StyleEase reference database saves all the references you have created, and makes it easy to cite existing works or use the same reference in subsequent papers. |

Adding New Elements and Pages |
Do you want to add elements in your document such as figures or tables? Select from the drop-down items in the StyleEase menu or ribbon tab.

Printing Your Document |
When you're ready to print a draft of your paper, the StyleEase Prepare for Printing screen makes it easy to do a final check of your paper. References get automatically sorted as required by APA, MLA, or Chicago standards, and your table of contents, list of figures, and list of tables are all updated and ready for printing. It's as easy as that!
